An Open Book Of God’s Heart In The Tradition Of Come Away My Beloved, October 5,Though her writings are in the same vein as these great scribes of God’s heart, she takes things a few steps further providing thought provoking reflections and prayers which have the capability to increase faith through the power of intercession and declaration. Her book is like Come Away My Beloved on steroids.
God speaks to us daily but many times we just don’t stop to listen. What would happen in our lives if we spent each morning taking the time to hear from our Father? This book helps all who read it to do so with such and intimate sense of love and acceptance such as I have never read or seen before. I can only hope she writes many more. I find myself hungry for the next book.
Like me, I am sure most are very busy doing the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This is why Brenda’s book is so important to me and will be to you as well.
Not only is this book in the tradition of all those I mentioned above, it also takes one on an interactive journey. Her writing opens the hearts of all who read it to hear the “Whispers of Heaven” for themselves.
Spending time in this book daily is as if God is sitting directly in front of you whispering words of encouragement, love, and truth. There is even an opportunity for you to whisper back. It is as if God used Brenda to scribe the thoughts and intentions of His heart. And in my humble opinion; He did.
Like me, you can use “Carvings in His Palm” as your daily devotion and spend time having moments with Father that are revealing and life changing. Her writings will bring a new and more in depth meaning to your walk with the Lord.
I really appreciated the fact she didn’t date the devotions and encourages the reader to spend as much time as necessary in order to absorb the truth of each love letter. Yes, love letter…lover letters with the ability to teach, correct and love all at the same time.
I also found it quite compelling how others used it as a group study to grow in intimacy with the Lord while building relationship with each other. It is and endeavor I wish to embark on.
Read this book and like me you will take hold of God’s hand and journey with Him through the chambers of His heart. There is no better place to be especially in these uncertain days and times.

It’s truly as though God, Himself, is speaking from His Heart to yours - words of love, peace, fulfillment, hope. When I first saw the cover of this amazing book…I had to look further…Just reading a few verses…I felt God speaking right to my heart. The words are so intimate, just like the Holy Spirit hovered over the waters as God was setting the foundations of the earth in place. He’s setting our foundations in place as He sees fit. You’re allowing God to use you, in a mighty and loving way. To bring hope, health and healing to women, that they are being prepared to become part of the body of Christ. Bless you, Brenda for becoming the instrument of His hand.
You Must Have this Book!
Brenda has a way of communicating the heart of the Father in warm, loving, and timely way. Every entry I read always leaves me with knowing that not only am I loved by God, but that He has a great plan for my life. Brenda’s writings are a must read and should be added to everyone’s quiet time with God.
