Does Obama’s “least of these” apply to aborted babies? Not!

A liberal political action committee called the “Matthew 25 Network” is asking Christian radio stations in the key battleground state of Ohio to air an ad that suggests Barack Obama would bring an end to the economic woes plaguing the state and the country if elected president.

Matthew 25 Network founder Mara Vanderslice says her group is hoping to run its latest pro-Obama ad in Cleveland, Youngstown, Cincinnati, and Columbus, as well as in smaller locales such as Findlay and Mount Vernon. Salem Radio affiliate WFHM 95.5 “The Fish” in Cleveland is already running the ad featuring former Democratic Congressman Tony Hall of Dayton and words from the 25th chapter of Matthew. The National Black Pro-Life Union, Day Gardner, TD Jakes & Obama

Why revisit the TD Jake’s praise and adulation (endorsement?) of Senator Obama?

Because, according to God’s Word, as a pastor and man of God he has a responsibility to be on the right side of life and must not be swayed by race, history or ideology. Seeing we are all equal in God’s eyes and He shows no partiality one can know He does not see race.

Therefore, it should not and cannot be the deciding or motivating factor which determines a righteous man’s vote. Adherence to the Word of God and all is stands for is the standard we must rise to. Christ and His Word is the plumb line we must measure ourselves against…not the ideologies of men.

Recently I have had born-again, preaching, Bible believing African American friends tell me they are going to vote for Obama based on the economy…on the war. They are going to look over their shoulder when it comes to Senator Obama’s support for abortion, infanticide and homosexuality. Can they ignore the fact Obama has said the first thing he will do when in office is lift a state ban on state restrictions on abortions including late term procedures.

See Senator Obama’s voting record and make up your own mind where he stands and what Planned Parenthood thinks about him. Here are a few of Senator Obama’s abortion lies.

Citing the economy and the war in Iraq as viable reasons to turn the other way, they become complicit  in the destruction of  life. This I cannot understand.

Comparing the war to abortion is like comparing apples and oranges. Our military is still voluntary and abortion is not. Men and women 18 and older get to make their own decision as to whether they will serve. Aborted babies do not.

Therefore, their choice to serve in the military cannot be compared to an innocent life who has no voice unless we speak for them. Does TD Jakes speak for them or does  he speak out of his own emotional attachment to history. Has he looked at the graphic images of aborted babies. If not…maybe he should and his goosebumps might just turn to tears.

Many look to TD Jakes as a moral leader and depend on him to be an example of the Gospel he preaches. However, he is not living up to the heart of the Gospel nor is he being an example  which cherishes life when it comes to his support of Senator Obama.

We will all stand before God someday. and when He asks us if we valued life, what will we tell Him? What will TD Jakes tell him? What will Senator Obama tell Him?

I don’t imagine God will be in the mood for excuses.  I’m guessing  citing the economy or war as an excuse worthy of turning the other way when it comes to the slaughter of children won’t pass the muster. What do you think? We all reap what we sew or should I say vote.
